Build a Goahti (Turf, Sod hut):
1) Å bygge en goahti / gamme
Saami tents are called "Lavvo" and traditionally they are made of reindeer skins or woven wool textile called Rátnu - Grene. Here is an example of a peat (turf)/wood hut / "Goathi" like the ones the Saami lived in back in time. These kinds of housing have been used for thousands of years since the Stone Age, and must have worked very well as protection from the blistering cold that is normal in Scandinavia and on the Kola Peninsula.
